Crook Hall Christmas

Over the weekend, Nathan and I helped out next door at Crook Hall for their special Christmas event. Nathan volunteered his services as an elf and got rave reviews from Maggie, our neighbor and owner of Crook Hall. "He's magnificent! Fantastic! Quite magical, really." He even led some carol singing.

I was either in the kitchen with all of the lovely teapots...

or taking tickets on Lambeau Field with a maze, a.k.a. the frozen tundra.

We've gotten even more snow since then, and I have to "out loud" talk myself into even getting out of bed, much less going outside. Your prayers for joy despite the cold weather and long hours of darkness would be much appreciated. Please also pray that we can make the drive to London and back in the weather to pick up my parents on Friday. I'm really looking forward to them coming (along with their suitcase full of American treats)!

Nate, did you act like Will Ferrell as the elf?? If not, you're a dork, if so, you're awesome. But being a dork is ok every once in a while.
