My dear college roomie and heart friend and baker extraordinaire, Kristi, sent me a box from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada!
Every time I think about Vancouver, I automatically hear the end of the Focus on the Family kids' radio program, Adventures In Odyssey, where they give the address for their headquarters in Canada.
"Vancouver, BC, B6B 4G3."
I am so weird.
Yes, I was in my mom's flannel snowman pajamas when opening the goods. Yes, it was in June. Speaking of Canada, Durham shares latitude with the Hudson Bay. And yes, it was fully light outside when I was awakened by this lovely package. It is fully light by 4:00 in the morning. Don't judge me.
Whoa! Loads of new VHS tapes! Yummy food like pesto and pasta (which is already gone) from Trader Joe's (gosh, I miss that store)! A beautiful birthday card!
Kristi, you are such a wonderful friend, and I thank you so much for your love through this package of goodies! After re-looking at these pictures, I have decided to nosh on the Trader Joe's trail mix (next to my left hand in the picture above) I have hidden.
