Last weekend we died and went to heaven with Mexican food and pumpkin cake.
The Lopez family invited Nathan and me over to share in a feast of food and fellowship, including enjoying American imports like corn tortillas and canned pumpkin. Wowsers. We oohed and aahed over every bite, "What About Bob" style.
But first! Belen's favorite holiday is Halloween, so we carved some pumpkins. We posed with Nathan smiles.
Belen was avoiding the camera, so he snapped one of the two of them while she was attempting to escape under the table. Got her!
