Nathan got some old video games from Nick and Kristen. Here he is playing Contra in his PJs early in the morning, looking like he's about 7 years old. :)
Nathan and I got Mumers some scarves in Israel.
We got Daddy an oil lamp from Jesus' time. He bought one there when he came to visit me, but it broke a few years ago.

Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a correctly written plural name - "the Sampleys", instead of "the Sampley's"? (After receiving more than one Christmas card written in the latter fashion...) Have we all really forgotten the appropriate use of the apostrophe? I know I will never see such an error on an English teacher's blog. :) Hallelujah. Hope you had a fabulous time in CA!
