We ran into a small problem with housing. Our converted barn home will be ready this Thursday, but our time at the farm expired on Saturday. For the in between time from yesterday to a few days from now, we're staying with Sam and Emily Dickinson (yes, that's her real name), the woman in the blue vest and the chap next to her. We were hooked up with them through our pastor, Paul. Paul's nephew goes to church where Sam is the youth director, and they called us up and asked us to stay with them. Praise God for his provision! Sam and Emily's good friends Will and Rachel and their baby Emily were visiting from London the same day, and all of us hung out and had lunch, went for a gorgeous walk, and had Indian curry for dinner before they left.
Sam and Emily have been the most gracious hosts, and after church this morning we took them to see our new place. They've also been fantastic in letting me blog away all afternoon today. I hope you enjoy the posts. Please be sure to go to the next page, as there is more fun to be had there as well!

Yay! It sounds like you are meeting some great people and diving in to your new adventure! (especially now that the stress of house-searching is over) I'm officially jealous of all that lovely cavorting all over that lovely English countryside.
Nico, as usual, I am captivated by your stories! You'll be so glad you recorded them on this blog. And those of us who love you are so happy to be able to share a little piece of your adventure with you. And to see how God provides! Can't wait to hear more...
Hi Nicole and Nathan,
WOW....your journey has exceeded my prayers for you...God is so good! I absolutely love your new home and I know Nicole will have it looking as charming on the inside as it looks on the outside. (The gardens being so near is a bonus blessing!..Nicole sweet peas are one of my favorite flowers too.)
Much love to both of you..

I'm so happy to know that God has answered so many of our prayers for you so far! I'm also glad to see that tea time includes butter....or some other fattening substance on the table for Nathan. And, you haven't mentioned anything about your blood sugar yet, has that been good so far?
